    Very good research question, just look to make it more specific as you research, because it is too broad as it is.

    Hi John,
    Good starting question. A twist that you might want to consider so that you are also talking about the text, is how does Dickens portray the changes that happened? Does he reflect them positively? As Necessary? As Trivial? You could use his intrepetation of the shift in social status as a basis for your paper.
