Quote : " 'Killed!', shrieked the man in wild desperation extending both arms at their length above his head. 'Dead!' "
Question : Why is it the rich people treat the people of lower class so poorly, and why can they get away with murder?
Comment : In the book "A Tale of Two Cities", Monsieur Marquise's carriage runs over a little boy, with the whole crowd looking. The little boy is killed, and a man is violently reacting over the murder committed in broad daylight. However, all Monsieur Marquise's response is "take better care of your kids." I'm surprised that the people haven't rebelled towards the Monsieur's harsh actions, and it is clear that the poorer regions are being treated more and more cruel every day; the rich get richer and the poor pay the taxes, which does not make sense to me.
